Concepts (13)
Concept scores are derived automatically based on a person's publications. Keywords in the their attributed publications are matched to keywords from the National Library of Medicine's controlled vocabulary thesaurus, MeSH (Medical Subject Headings). The strength of a person's concept scores is based not only on the number of corresponding publications, but also how relevant the concepts are to the overall topics of the publications, how long ago the publications were written, whether the person was the first or senior author, and how many other people have written about the topic.Concepts cannot be directly edited. You can help ensure your concepts are accurate by making sure your attributed publications are correct and up-to-date. We recommend checking over your attributed publications list every three to four months.
In this concept 'cloud', the size of the concepts correlates to the strength and uniqueness of the relationship between the person and the concept. The stronger the concept connection (higher the concept score), the bolder and larger the text of the concept is. Concept strength is calculated as described above.
