Biography Dr. Thrush is a Professor and Education Scientist in the Department of Surgery and the Center for Graduate Medical Education at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, in Little Rock, AR. Dr. Thrush holds BA and MA degrees in Psychology from the University of West Florida and a Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership/Faculty Development (Ed.D.) from University of Arkansas-Little Rock.

Research Dr. Thrush has worked in academic healthcare settings since 1991, and has published more than 80 scientific journal articles spanning educational, social and behavioral sciences, health services, and medical education research domains.
She has served as a Co-PI on an NIH NCRR grant to establish psychometric properties of a survey to assess organizational research climate and as a consultant on a VA HSR&D-funded grant to assess methods of feedback from this survey to VA leaders. She has consulted with many entities regarding measuring the organizational climate for research integrity, including the Council of Graduate Schools, Michigan State University, Epigeum, the American Geophysical Union, University of California Davis-NCATS investigators, and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
