    Dr. Mauricio Garcia joined the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in the UAMS Department of Internal Medicine after completing an advanced fellowship in advanced transplant hepatology at the University of Nebraska. He received his medical degree from the University of National Autonomy of Mexico and completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology from there as well. He is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
