    Dr. Kevin Means completed his medical degree at Howard University in Washington, D.C. and completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago at Northwestern University in Chicago, Ill. Dr. Means’ clinical interests are in physical medicine and rehabilitation in which he has board certification. He has a special interest in falls prevention for senior adults. He has done extensive research and has given presentations on this topic at meetings across the nation. He has been named as one of Arkansas’ Best Doctors. He was presented with the Chancellor’s Teaching Award during the 2008-2009 Academic Year. He is a leader and/or member of several professional organizations including: National Medical Association American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Association of Academic Physiatrists American Geriatrics Society Dr. Means discovered his interest in physical medicine and rehabilitation early in life when working at a hospital in college. After his experience there, he had no doubt about what he wanted to go into. He has a passion for his job and making a difference in his patients’ lives.
