overview Subodh Devabhaktuni, M.D., is assistant professor of medicine and associate program director of director of cardiology fellowship program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He graduated from Guntur Medical College in Guntur, India, and trained in cardiology at University of Nevada School of Medicine and in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Indiana University. Dr Devabhaktuni specializes in treatment of heart rhythm disorders. He treats disorders like atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia with medications and catheter ablation, implants pacemakers and defibrillators. Catheter ablation is a procedure to fix abnormal heart rhythm problems in a minimally invasive way. Dr Devabhaktuni is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Heart Rhythm Society.
