I am a data scientist and bioinformatician with a strong background in mathematics. Through collaborative projects, my research focuses on analysis and integration of non-omics and multi-omics data—including genomics, microbiome, transcriptomics, epigenomics, metabolomics, proteomics— to study disease and environment using advanced machine learning and statistical learning methodologies.
In addition, I am involved in pathogen surveillance research, leveraging genomics and microbiome data to monitor and track infectious disease. My wet laboratory is dedicated to real-time surveillance of antimicrobial-resistant pathogens, particularly in immunocompromised patient populations. We integrate genomic data with electronic health records (EHRs) to drive actionable insights and support precision medicine initiatives for infectious prevention and antibiotic stewardship.
