I am a data scientist and bioinformatician with a strong foundation in mathematics. My research focuses on the integration and analysis of both non-omics and multi-omics data—including microbiome, genomics, metabolomics, lipidomics, DNA methylation, proteomics, RNA-seq, single-cell RNA-seq, and Tn-seq—using advanced machine learning and statistical learning methodologies.
In addition, I am involved in pathogen surveillance research, leveraging genomics and microbiome data to monitor and track infectious threats. My laboratory is dedicated to real-time surveillance of antimicrobial-resistant pathogens, particularly in immunocompromised patient populations. We integrate high-dimensional omics data with electronic health records (EHRs) to drive actionable insights and support precision medicine initiatives in infectious disease and antimicrobial resistance.
