overview Ahmed A. Sallam, M.D, Ph.D., FRCOphth, is an ophthalmologist at the Harvey and Bernice Jones Eye Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Dr. Sallam specializes in the management of ocular inflammation and infection as well as treatment of vitreoretinal disorders including retinal detachments, age related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
