I am a UAMS Faculty member with many volunteer professional community services such as the Chair of the Governor’s Task Force on Stroke, the Acute Stroke Care Task Force (ASCTF) committee and leader for programmatic review and evaluation of the Stroke telemedicine program. As a fellow of the American Heart Association (AHA), I am a participating member of the AHA Council on Cardiovascular Radiology & Intervention, Stroke Council and Council on Quality of Care and Outcomes Research (QCOR), Through the AHA’s QCOR I serve on the Council on Epidemiology and Prevention Council on Cardiovascular Stroke Nursing Prevention Science Committee
