Overview Dr. Sanjay Maraboyina is an Assistant Professor in the Radiation Oncology Department at the UAMS College of Medicine, and is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. He received his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Maraboyina went on to complete an internship in internal medicine at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio and a Radiation Oncology residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He also completed a Prostate Brachytherapy Scholarship at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.Dr. Maraboyina has done research work on a number of topics, including the effects of brachytherapy for prostate cancer and the effects of insulin and glucocorticoids on the cell cycle. His publications include abstracts in the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, the official journal of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), as well as presenting an abstact at the American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting.
