    Scott Laffoon, M.D. graduated from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Zooology. He graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences for his doctorate in medicine. He completed his Family Practice Residency at AHEC Northeast.He was in private practice in Paragould for three years before joining the AHEC Northeast Family Practice Clinic in 1996.
