We will describe an in-depth interactions between platelets and leukocytes as possible drivers of inflammation in CKD using intracellular flow cytometry. This will be a novel and a significant first step towards understanding the pathophysiology of pro-inflammatory state in CKD and how platelets modulate inflammation in this population.
