    Collapse overview
Starting January 2016 as Associate Professor in the Biostatistics Program, Department of Pediatrics, College of Medicine, UAMS, and was formerly at LSUHSC-New Orleans for 13 years. I have extensive experience in planning and carrying out statistical analyses for metabolism/obesity/diabetes, cancer, and other biomedical investigations. I have contributed to the planning and analysis of several basic and intervention studies on metabolism-obesity-diabetes in children. I have also contributed to numerous cancer research studies on basic research (in vitro and animal models), gene expression, statistical genetics, human populations samples, cancer registry databases, and designing of navigation intervention on cancer care. I have been the biostatistician for approximately 20 studies funded from federal sources, including NIH (COBRE, CTSA, R01) and the Department of Defense, and state agencies (Louisiana). I also have been core leader for a COBRE grant funded over 2 cycles (1P20-44-021970-05S109, 2P20RR021970) and recently renewed (1P30GM114732-01), core leader for a P20 grant (1P20MD004817), and co-leader of the Biostatistics Core for an U54 grant (U54 MD008176).
