Dr. Tabasum lmran, a member of our teaching faculty, is originally from Pakistan. She attended Dow Medical College there. She practiced in family medicine for two years there before coming to the United States. Dr. lmran was a former resident at UAMS West. She became faculty in the fall of 2011. Dr. lmran is faculty director of our research efforts at UAMS West and conducts inpatient and outpatient patient visits. Each year she works with third year residents in their area of research and works with them to submit various journal articles for publication through FPIN. Dr. Imran likes UAMS West because of the patient exposure she gets in an academic setting. In her spare time, Dr. Imran enjoys interior designing, traveling and spending time with her family.
