Overview Dr. Sallie Oliphant completed her medical degree at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, NC. She then went on to complete both residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at The University of Pittsburgh, Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. During her fellowship, she received a Master's in Clinical Research from the University of Pittsburgh.Dr. Oliphant's clinical interests include urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse. She has made a number of national presentations and had numerous publications in her specialty area. She is an active researcher with special interest in maternal pelvic floor adaptions and birth injury and surgical outcomes in Urogynecology. She is a steering committee member of the Collaborative Research in Pelvic Surgery Consortium. She is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Urogynecologic Society.
