    Dr. Mian is Associate Professor in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology. He completed medical school from Pakistan, Pediatric residency training at Beth Israel Medical Center (NY), and served as Chief Resident. He then completed Pediatric Hematology-Oncology fellowship training at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, followed by an additional year training in bone marrow transplantation. During fellowship, he received MS (clinical epidemiology) from University of Cincinnati. In 2018, Dr. Mian completed MBA-Health Care and has made numerous presentations on costs and value in US Health care. At present, he is enrolled as Data Scholar in Medical Informatics.
    Dr. Mian's clinical interests include hematologic malignancies and bone marrow transplantation. He has been selected multiple times among Best Doctors in America. Dr. Mian's research interest involves exploring novel bio-markers predictive of clinical outcomes with emphasis on sepsis and fever-neutropenia. He has received several intramural and extramural grants and has multiple publications. He is interested in application of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning in clinical practice. He has also championed quality improvement projects including strategies to decrease Central Line Blood Stream Infections (CLABSI) among cancer patients. He was recently recognized as finalists among "Health Care Innovation Heroes" 2015, by Arkansas Business.
