    Dr. Samantha McKelvey is an Assistant Professor in the UAMS Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Generalist Division. She is the Associate Residency Program Director, Advisor for the Cord Blood Bank of Arkansas, and State Commissioner for the Arkansas Newborn Umbilical Cord Blood Initiative, and a volunteer for the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute Cancer Survivorship Program. Her clinical interest is obstetrics and gynecology. She has made several presentations in her field in meetings and conferences around the country. She also has numerous publications on a variety of topics within obstetrics and gynecology. In addition to being an Obstetrician and Gynecologist, Dr. McKelvey is a cancer survivor and mom, and she enjoys becoming a part of her patients' lives during one of the most exciting times in their lives. She also likes building relationships with her patients and getting to know their specific situation and condition.
